What is the AMFE?

The automatic miniature fire extinguisher AMFE is a fire-extinguishing fuse.

Quality-conscious manufacturers have been bringing safe products onto the market for years. The causes that can lead to a technical defect and possibly a fire can never be ruled out 100%.

Around every third fire occurs due to electricity, and many continue to occur in electrical appliances. The AMFE can be built directly into the electronics by manufacturers and protects you from damage when it would otherwise be too late.

If there should be a technical defect in an electrical device, the AMFE can detect the fire, extinguish it and prevent it from reigniting. And it gets even better: Thanks to our special solution multialert®, an unlimited number of AMFEs can be networked and triggered remotely at the same time – for your maximum security.

Economical Solutions

During a fire scenario, the heat creates a higher pressure on the ampoule. When the predetermined trigger temperature is reached, the ampoule bursts, activating a patented mechanism that pumps the extinguishing fluid out of the cylinder. The extinguishing fluid leaves the cylinder through holes in the AMFE body and reaches the fire at an early stage. The damage can be limited. Thanks to the quick and effective course of the extinguishing process, the fire is prevented from spreading further.

STEP 1: AMFE INSTALLATION	STEP 2: multialert® INSTALLATION
By installing the AMFE, you are protected by a patented trigger mechanism. According to the thermodynamic principle, the thermo bulb triggers the AMFE at a predetermined trigger temperature. Without any additional wiring or external power supply! In step 2, the AMFE can be expanded to include the optional multialert®.	The multialert® offers you the following benefits: Simultaneous triggering of several AMFEs Forwarding to higher-level systems, such as fire alarm control panels Audiovisual signaling via warning horn and RGB rotating beacon Shutdown of fans and main protectors External triggering of the AMFE via various systems and detection options, see steps 3 + 4

STEP 3: CONNECTING ADDITIONAL FIRE DETECTORS	STEP 4: ACTIVATION AND EXTINGUISHING
